Tidal’s new Apple Watch app works with no iPhone nearby

The upgraded Apple Watch app on Spotify there is already fresh indigay. Tidal has released the first of these Apple Watch apps, which give you the opportunity to play offline music or stream without needing your iPhone nearby. You’ll need to link your Tidal account via a web browser, but after that you can pop up your running playlist from your wrist at any time.

Use the excuse on Samsung watches before it, but otherwise not an option of internal devices.

This is the fourth major streaming service to operate independently of Apple Watch following Apple Music, Spotify and Pandora. While you still won’t be left with many options (Deezer and YouTube Music stays tied to your iPhone), this makes Apple’s bracelet even more attractive, at least compared to some platforms – even though Google only now carries YouTube Music Wear OS.
